This model serves as a visual support in teaching the developmental process towards the fetus in medical schools and health schools.

SCREENING

This model consists of 10 parts and shows the relationship between fetus and uterus during pregnancy.

• 1st piece: Normal uterus; shows the woman's inner genitalia.
• 2nd piece: Shows the embryo and uterus in the first month of pregnancy; placenta is also seen.
• 3rd piece: Shows the fetus and uterus as in the second month of pregnancy; the embryo looks exactly like a human.
• 4th piece: Shows the fetus and uterus as in the third month of pregnancy; the fetus is about 9 cm in length.
• 5th piece: Shows the fetus and uterus as in the fourth month of pregnancy; the fetus is about 16 cm in length.
• 6th piece: Shows the fetus and uterus as in the fifth month of pregnancy; the fetus is about 25 cm in length.
• 7th piece: Shows the fetus and uterus as in the sixth month of pregnancy; the fetus is about 30 cm in length.
• 8th piece: Shows the fetus and uterus as in the seventh month of pregnancy; the fetus is about 35 cm in length.
• 9th piece: Shows the fetus and uterus as in the eighth month of pregnancy; the fetus is about 40 cm in length.
• 10th piece: Shows the fetus and uterus as in the ninth month of pregnancy; the fetus is about 45 cm in length.
