This model is designed to teach realistic skin structure and appropriate injection techniques. The right side of the model is transparent and the internal structure of bones, muscles, nerves and vessels is clearly shown. It makes it easier to avoid damage to nerves and vessels, and to compare the right and left sides.

Correct injection points can be palpated, gluteus medius, nerves, vessels, ilium crista and greater trochanter palpable. The injected liquid is then drained with a liquid drainage bag.

There is an audible and light warning system on the model. The red light warns that the needle position is wrong or the needle goes too deep. The green light indicates the correct injection technique and positioning.
