This model is designed as an educational model designed to demonstrate and practice endotracheal intubation through the mouth to medical students, clinical nurses and first aid workers.

SCREENING

1. Endotracheal intubation.
2. Observation of the pupils: One is normal and the other is large.

OPERATION METHODS

1. The practitioner comes to the model, raises the head to 80 degrees, makes the mouth, throat and trachea in line and opens the mouth.
2. Hold the throat mirror with your left hand at a right angle to the throat, move towards the root of the tongue, when you raise the mirror a little higher you can see the epiglottis. Put the front of the mirror at the intersection of the epiglottis and the tongue, when you raise the mirror a little higher you can see the glottis.
3. Hold the endotracheal tube with your right hand and insert the tube towards the glottis. When the tube advances 1 cm, the green light turns on and a positive beep sounds, then the tube is pushed into the trachea for another 3-4 cm.
4. If the red light comes on and a negative warning sound is heard, it is understood that the tube is moving towards the wrong place. The tube should be removed and reinserted.
5. Put the dental pad on the edge of the pipe, remove the mirror, fix the tooth pad and tube with adhesive tape.
6. Inject the appropriate gas into the gas bag with the injector, connect the plug and the end of the gas bag.
7. Connect the tube to the breathing machine and observe the mobilization of the lung by pressing and releasing the reservoir bag.

ADVANTAGES OF THE MODEL

1. The tongue is flexible and can be pressed down. By moving the epiglottis below the root of the tooth, the glottis can be exposed for similar clinical procedures.
2. Thanks to the movable jaw and neck joints, it gives the operator a more realistic feeling.
3. The sensor determines whether the trachea tube has been inserted correctly. On the console, lights and sounds indicate that the operation is progressing correctly or incorrectly.
4. Shows normal pupil and dilated pupil.

MAINTENANCE

Use the model in accordance with the correct application method. After use, put the model in its box and store the box in a convenient place. To avoid damage and fading of the model, it should be stored in a place away from direct sunlight. The model should not be disassembled by people who do not know the instructions for use. Otherwise, the parts may be damaged. When the model gets dirty, it can be cleaned with detergent. Working voltage is 200-240 V. If necessary, use a manostat.
